- You will not enter false information or "fake" or "practice" cases, unless you check the box "I'm just trying the tool. This is not a real case". Please note, not clicking the box will compromise our public health and hazard surveillance programs.
- You will not use the interactive or site-related services in a way that is intended to harm, or that a reasonable person would understand would likely result in harm, to the user or others.
- You will not collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, or otherwise attempt to access another person's case record or files.
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, deconstruct, derive object or source code from or otherwise misappropriate any of the interactive or site-related services or the underlying systems, software or decision algorithms that support them.
- You will not intentionally distribute bugs, viruses, malware, trojan horses or other harmful computer code.
Data on completed, nonduplicated pubic cases (excluding test cases) are available for analysis through the webPOISONCONTROL Data Analysis Dashboard. The data are provided for noncommercial, scientific, public health, safety and educational purposes only. If you use of this analytic tool, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You will avoid misuse or mischaracterization of the data and will report all results accurately.
- Data remain the property of NCPC, but non-identifying summary data may be used for noncommercial academic, scientific, public health, safety and educational purposes, including public education, poison prevention and research.
- It is your responsibility to comply with local and national research and data laws, rules, and regulations.
- You may not use summary reports, charts, or individual data elements for any commercial purposes and are strictly prohibited from including such information in any marketing or promotion, including to make claims that a product that you manufacture, market or distribute is safer than another product.
- The data do not represent the entirety of poisoning cases occurring the U.S., therefore you may not present or characterize these data as representing the entirety of poisoning cases occurring in the U.S.
- We encourage use of summary reports, tables and charts obtained from the webPOISONCONTROL Data Analysis Dashboard, including publication of these. But if you reproduce summary reports, tables or charts or publish any information obtained from the webPOISONCONTROL® Data Analysis Dashboard, you agree to acknowledge the source of the data as follows:

NCPC has several tools that allow you to record and store information.
