Both options are free, expert, and confidential. Both are available 24/7.
If you use webPOISONCONTROL to get fully-automated, expert help, but find you need additional assistance, don't hesitate to call your poison center at 1-800-222-1222 (US only). Your call will be routed to the poison center designated to serve your region. If you are outside the US, use local procedures to call a poison center or go to an emergency room if you have a poison emergency.
